Greta Seidman

With a deep commitment to community development and multi-sector leadership, Greta brings extensive experience in public education advocacy, affordable housing, infrastructure development, and civic engagement. During her career, Greta has focused on scaling organizational missions, cultivating cross-sector strategic partnerships, and crafting high-impact narratives that unite communities and stakeholders around shared visions.

Most recently, Greta served as the Managing Director of External Affairs at Opportunity 180, a nonprofit education advocacy organization, a role in which she led strategic communications and public affairs, and built strategic coalitions across philanthropic, business and civic sectors. Her tenure was highlighted by monumental milestones for the organization, including the celebration of a historic $51 million federal grant and the passage of significant education accountability and access legislation.

Greta’s diverse background includes leadership of communications, brand strategy, and public affairs for major regional initiatives. During her time as Director of Marketing and Communications for Brightline West, she played a key role in the company’s efforts to advance high-speed rail infrastructure. She also drove messaging for Nevada HAND, the state’s largest non-profit affordable housing developer.

Greta spent more than seven years at the Vegas Chamber as an advocate for regional economic growth, public policy, business resilience, and strategic economic diversification and development, a role that introduced her to numerous industries, organizations and causes.

A passionate advocate for growing the next generation of leaders and volunteerism, Greta brings extensive board experience from organizations like the Leadership Foundation of Greater Las Vegas, the Vegas Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee, Jewish Nevada, and Get Outdoors Nevada. She holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
