Bart Patterson and Justin Cohen founded Summit Consulting Group with the sole purpose of serving as “do gooders” who help social impact organizations attain their fullest potential. Today, that’s formalized as our very mission.
Bruce Spotleson and Greta Seidman later joined the team as Partners. In addition to its core team, Summit operates with a broad network of professionals with diverse and specialized skills. In areas such as grant management, analytics, ROI measurements, project planning and complex human resources topics, we can draw upon recognized expertise.

Bart Patterson

Bart Patterson is a former attorney and past president of Nevada State College, which he grew into one of the nation’s fastest-growing and most diverse colleges. He has served across Nevada’s business, workforce, and nonprofit communities, most recently as interim CEO of Get Outdoors Nevada and as founder of the Boost Nevada grant program. Outside his work, he has a deep passion for hiking and exploring America.
Justin Cohen

Justin Cohen is an entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience driving organizational growth through marketing, analytics, and leadership. Before founding BTV Marketing Group, a mission-driven Las Vegas agency serving nonprofits across Nevada, he built the digital-first agency IMI into a team of nearly 100 marketers serving everyone from Fortune 100 companies to nonprofits. He also serves as Chair of the Board for Get Outdoors Nevada.
Bruce Spotleson

Bruce Spotleson has served as chairman and board member of nonprofit organizations across several regions of the U.S., bringing deep experience in development and organizational turnaround. He was the 2014 Chairman of the Board for the Vegas Chamber, founding chairman of Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, and a co-founder of Nevada Gives. His nonprofit leadership includes directing development at Vegas PBS and serving as Interim Executive Director of The Neon Museum.
Melissa Kaiser

Melissa Kaiser has raised more than $100 million in capital funds for the organizations she has served, drawing on deep expertise in governance, fundraising, partnership building, and strategic planning. She has guided boards, executive teams, investors, and public agencies through growth and transformation, including eight years as CEO of DISCOVERY Children’s Museum. She now applies that skill set to large-scale infrastructure and public-private partnerships through her work with Cordia Energy.
Greta Seidman

Greta Seidman is a multi-sector leader with experience spanning education advocacy, affordable housing, infrastructure, and civic engagement. She spent more than seven years at the Vegas Chamber championing regional economic growth, then led communications for Nevada HAND and Brightline West’s high-speed rail effort. Most recently, she served as Managing Director of External Affairs at Opportunity 180, where she led strategic communications, public affairs, and coalition building.
